What I'm taking with me...

I loved this practicum experience. It has shown me how resilient children can be and how adaptable their minds are. In the beginning, I saw technology as a tool that I could sometimes use in lessons. Now, I realize that preparing lessons on slides beforehand makes for a meager, more organized, and well presented lesson. As well, technology is exciting for kids to use, so incorporating technology into activities makes a lesson more engaging and exciting.  This semester gave me the opportunity to try out different technology platforms, like blogger, Twitter, YouTube, and Scratch, from an educational perspective. I am so grateful for this experience. I hope that I contributed to the learning of others by sharing what I had learned and by offering feedback when appropriate.
